11 AND 13 ROBINSON STREET, CAMBRIDGE
Our clients for this project approached Cogswell Surveys in early 2017 for advice prior to the auction of the subject property at 13 Robinson Street as to its development potential. Following consultation with the planning team at Cogswell Surveys the clients proceeded with the purchase of the property and the foundations were laid for an intensive housing development which required a joint land use and subdivision consent. The subsequent purchase of the adjoining property at 11 Robinson Street expanded the project into an 8 Lot development requiring specific house design to fit the small Lots of 350-400m².
Cogswell Surveys worked in a close relationship with G.J Gardner Homes to provide an overall package that would obtain Council consent following consultation with adjoining owners and Council planning staff.
Planning consents, engineering design, construction supervision and surveying were all part of the service provided by Cogswell Surveys ensuring the project was completed in a timely manner and on budget.
This project is close to housing completion with the civil works completed mid-2017. This is a good example of how more intensive infill housing can be developed to a high standard, following modern
urban design principles.
